Introducing, Atom Mark I
In 2015, during my 6th-grade years, I embarked on a journey that was fueled by inspiration from a movie called "Real Steel," a thrilling tale of Robo boxing. The story revolved around a young boy who, with sheer determination, built a remarkable robot from scratch. This cinematic experience ignited a passion within me, inspiring me to embark on a similar path.
I began crafting my own robot, and it marked an exciting start to my journey. Armed with little more than cardboard and disposable cups, I meticulously crafted its exterior. To provide structure and strength, I employed metal wires and popsicle sticks, forming the robot's exoskeleton with care and precision....
Inside, I integrated a sophisticated array of components: 8 DC motors, 1 OTG camera, a robust battery unit, and an array of vibrant LED lights. With these elements in place, Atom Mark I came to life, exhibiting the ability to move its head, arms, and waist with grace and finesse.
However, despite my efforts, there was one formidable obstacle that Atom Mark I couldn't overcome – its own weight. Regrettably, this limitation prevented the robot from moving forward as intended. While this initial project may have been deemed unsuccessful in traditional terms, it was a journey filled with valuable experiences and insights.
The joy and fulfillment derived from this endeavor were immeasurable, and it served as a stepping stone for future ambitions. I am confident that in the days to come, I will unveil Atom Mark II, a project that will reflect my growth, dedication, and unwavering passion for robotics. Stay tuned for what the future holds, as I continue to strive for innovation and excellence in the world of robotics.
